Learn more > Public Safety Campus Under Construction The City of Sugar Creek's new Public Safety Campus is currently under construction on Parcel 3 in Phase 1 of The Bluffs development. The new building is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2008, and will house both the Police and Fire Departments. According to project manager, Liz Arasmith, the new Public Safety Campus is the first building to be constructed at The Bluffs. The City is excited to have its new Public Safety Campus near the entrance to The Bluffs development. The proximity to Emergency Service will be attractive to Future Tenants. First Phase Now Open The first phase of The Bluffs is available for occupation now. The initial phase includes sites ranging from 1.5 acres to more than 25 acres in size. The total community will encompass 200 acres of developable land with another 190 acres set aside for roadways and natural green space. Roundabout and Entryway Now Open Work has been completed on a new intersection and entry point to The Bluffs of Sugar Creek. The roundabout is designed to provide convenient access to all phases of the new business community and efficiently move traffic on the major thoroughfares that connect The Bluffs to the Kansas City area and beyond.
